     Yes, there sure are an awful lot of hall trees on the market. Some are kind of rickety and others are somewhat clunky. And still others are just downright strange looking. As you can see ours has four nice big brass finished hooks. Actually they are double hooks.  Great for scarves.  Yes indeed the stem is really one piece of solid oak a full sixty inches long!  Not screwed together in the middle like some others you may have seen. The legs are elegantly shaped yet still provide excellent stability.  It may not look like it but we have actually hung rolled up sleeping bags from this tree and it did not tip over!  Easy to assembly and sure to provide a warm accent to your front room or entry way.
